Jazz Around the World – 18 April – Italy

Welcome to Italy. Last year, I was introduced for the first time to the one of the artists who will be playing for us today. Many thanks to Marcus Miller and his SiriusXM radio program Miller Time. Now it’s my turn to pay it forward.

It was bassist Dario Deidda that I heard on Miller Time. After looking up the song Miller played on his show on YouTube, I learned that the vocalist was a gentleman by the name of Gegé Telesforo.

For your listening and viewing pleasure, please welcome vocalist Gegé Telesforo and bassist Dario Deidda. We’ll hear from Gegé first, then Dario. If you like them as much as I do, we may be able to get them to join forces and play something special for us before we leave.
